Moving 2 Owensboro KY & need a Lapband Dr.

Hi, I'm moving to Owensboro, KY next week from Cleveland OH. I'm looking for a good lapband Dr. in the area. I think there are a couple in Evansville, IN. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to tell me. My current Dr. told me to do some research and meet with the Dr. in person then he would send my records once I found a good one. I'm in Owensboro, and there's not a band doctor here that I know of.  I got to Louisville, but there is some in Evansville.  My dr. in Louisville said the ones in Evansville are good (he graduated with one of them).  I just can't go there because I am a state employee and have state insurance and was afraid they wouldn't pay if I went out of state (even though it's closer!).  Good luck! 

I thought about going to Evansville. I saw a Dr. on here from there and he had shining reviews. I don't think I really want to drive to Louisville even tho it wouldn't be very often lol. Thanks for the info! 

My doctor is from Ohio but now lives and works in Georgetown, KY.  I don't know how far that would be but his name is Tom Sonnanstine and he is wonderful.
