 Hello Everyone
  My name is Michelle I am currently living Louisville  I am 2 day post op from my WLS I had the realize band my surgeon is Dr Shina. Feeling pretty good just some pain under my ribs and my shoulder I was told that would be supected. I cant wait to hear from others who had WLS

Hi Michelle!  Congratulations on your WLS.  I'm glad that you're feeliing pretty well being just two days post-op.  I also live in Louisville.  Are you going to come to the support group meetings at Norton?  I go to the one at Norton Suburban.  I would love to see you there!  We have both band and gastric bypass patients that attend (as well as pre-op information seekers)

I'm currently a few weeks VSG preop.  Congrats on having your surgery and for letting us know your progress.  Sounds like things are going great.  Excited for you!  Please continue to keep us updated...

 Hey Michelle congrats on your surgery :) My mom had the lap band done several years ago and she lost 149lbs and has kept it all off! She said that the meetings helped her and listening to your body. I am looking forward to possibly having the lap-band or realize band done, just don't know about the insurance side of things :). I will keep you in my prayers..... The best of luck to ya
