Dr. Sonnanstine

Sorry I have not been in here for the last two weeks. Been trying to get everything done and in so I can get a surgery date. I did choose Dr. Sonnanstine! I really liked him when I went to the seminar. I have done paperwork and had my first visit. My insurance has approved me and I have doing my cardiac clearence tomorrow. I am really excited and waiting to see him again so I can get a date.
Everything is kinda overwhelming but I have been going through all the papers with high lighter and paper to make list of things to buy and get strted on.
I applaud all of you that have already gone through this process and made a new lifestyle change.

Toni,  I don't think you will be sorry you chose him.  He is a wonderful caring doctor.

Congrats on being so close to surgery! :)  Dr. Sonnanstine is a wonderfully skilled & compassionate doctor-you could not have picked anyone better! :)

That is wonderful news Toni, congrats. You will do beautifully.  Now if I may ask you or perhaps others may know this answer.  I saw a quick "blip" some where that Dr. Sonnanstine will be in the Cincy/Nky area for a seminar in March. But now I can't find it.  Can someone tell me if they know the information?  I swear I have been on here an hour and can't seem to find where someone posted about it earlier.

Dr. Sonnanstine will be in N. Ky..on Saturday March 13th at the Radisson Hotel .(thats the tall round hotel with the revolving rest. on the river just as you cross into Cincy).   If you need more info just call his office --Gtown or email me, I will see if I can get more info.

I had my surgery on 11/18 with Dr. Sonnanstine.  He has been wonderful and very responsive!  I thought I had given myself a hernia after about 7 weeks post op and he had to do a diagnostic laproscopy (however you spell it).  He was supportive and understanding throughout the whole issue.  I also like his nurse Steve and Wendy the receptionist.  They are always so nice when you see them or talk to them.

Not to mention Dr. S. is very easy on the eyes.  :)

Glad I chose him to do my surgery. 

Well guys..things are looking great. I have all my stuff to Dr. S office and I have just maybe one or two more test.....ummm...pulmonary and maybe something else. Waiting for Tina to call with some dates for me. I am so excited but so scared at the same time. I have started on my vitamins. UGH.....I am not happy with the chewable multivitamins but it is little to have to do every morning to stay happy and healthy. I think I have found I am partial to the Atkins protein shakes. Of course I know my taste may change as well.
Any suggestions for me on things you all have found on vitamins or protein supplaments for me to trey before surgery?
