lol.  I'm with you Lisa.
I usually go for the shrimp rings!
It is always a safe bet for me.

Leslie, I found a pumpkin mousse last year that I really like and am taking it to my sister's as a wls friendly dessert.  Made with 3 c. ff milk, 2 (1.5 pkg.) JELLO Vanilla ff, sf pudding, 1 (15 oz. can )pumpkin, 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice & 1 c. COOL WHIP lite or sugar free topping.  This comes from kraftfoods.com website.  It's light, tasty and satisfying.   60 cal. 3g proteing per serving.  Just a thought.

That sounds wonderful!   Going to have to try it!  And I bet it would look cute in little individual christmas serving bowls too.  Hmmm......

I need to think outside the box a little when making desserts.

Thanks.

I look forward to turkey as much as dessert...hmm.
I do make a cranberry relish, not sauce and it is sweet and tart at the same time. I use splenda insted of sugar and that works like a champ.

I really need to get me a Sugar Free Cookbook to try out some of the desserts........hmmm.....maybe that is a good option to use a gift card on!

Leslie,  I have many sugar free cookbooks, due to the fact I am diabetic.  I thought I would use them when I had WLS but found that most had too many carbs for me.  So be careful when picking your recipes and watch the carbs too.

Merry Christmas,

Jacqueline
