Haven't posted in a while

Hello!  I haven't posted here in a while and thought I'd pop on and see how everyone is doing.  It was 5 months ago today that I had my RNY.  I feel so much better and am truly thankful that I was able to have it.

The last time I weighed a few days ago, I had lost 92 pounds.  I'm hoping to hit 100 before Christmas.  I'm off all blood pressure and cholesterol medication and don't have the awful swelling of my ankles that I did prior to my surgery.  I've been on two trips in the last two months and did fine with both long plane rides and hours in the car.  In the past, those situations would have been painful for me.  I'm also sleeping much better now that I don't have to use my BiPap machine any longer.

I hope that everyone else is doing well and had a great Thanksgiving.  I don't do well with turkey, so I just ate soft foods on Thanksgiving. 

I'm hoping to make it to the next support group meeting at Norton Suburban.  Hope to see some of you there!

Congratulations on you 5 month surgiversary!  You have lost a lot a weight fast!

Congratulations LeAnne!  Good to see you are doing well.  I'm also on the downward spiral and am glad I had the surgery.  I had my 3 month anniversary right before Thanksgiving, but have lost since then, even THROUGH Thanksgiving!  What a treat it was to not eat all that stuff!  I remember times I felt like the turkey - stuffed and bloated.  I'm so glad I'm past all that now.  I pray never to repeat that problem.
