dr.tanner leaving

i just found out yesterday when i went to make my six mth appt. that my surgeon, dr. tanner, is leaving.  i did not receive any notification and the office would not give me any information at all.  i was able to squeeze in a date in the middle of dec.  do any of you have any information as to why he is leaving or where he is going?  thanks...i hope you all have a great thanksgiving!

I am sorry I don't but give the board some time I am sure someone will give some info. I think (even though doc's sign contracts) it is rediculous for them not to let us know where they are going. UGH! We buid relationships and then they get broken because the office doesn't want us to know.

ps one of my buds is one of doc tanners patients too!

I had heard the same thing but my source did not know where he was going either.  He did my sister's RNY.  Maybe give Reta or one of the other's a call over at Norton's Clinic and see if they know anything more over there?  If I find out anything further I will update this post.
