Pikeville Medical Center Support Group Meetings

 Pikeville Medical Center is now having support group meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month on the 2nd floor of the hospital. This is a great support group new to this area. The meetings start at 6:00pm and last to 8:00pm. Come out and lets support Eastern Kentucky!

Can anyone attend that did not have WLS at Pikeville?   Do you have a list of meeting dates and topics?

I live in Prestonsburg and had my RNY at KDMC but that is too far to drive for a support group.

Yes, anyone can attend. It's the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We have only had 2 meetings so far and the group is really small. The meeting was this past Tuesday so the next one will be in December. Novembers meeting was about surviving the holidays. I will post when I find out more info. Hope to see you there!

Do you have any idea when Dr.Ramos will be able to take Medicare for surgery i do know it has to be a center of excellence .
It would be alot easier to have a dr. in my hometown.

Sorry! I have no ideal. Did you call the office? I had my surgery at Hazard ARH in Hazard. Dr. Oldam was my surgeon. Hazard would be closer for you than Lexington.
