I am having Ds with doc Husted, has anyone ask him for a longer cc?  Worried about bonelose.

I will be seeing him on Nov 9th for my year follow-up appoint.

Dr. Husted is very easy to talk to. Just mention your concerns to him. Also, I believe he customizes the length of the CC to fit your needs.

Dr. Husted generally uses the Hess method for his common channel length. http://dshess.com/

I'm sure he will discuss your concerns about bone loss and CC lengths, but keep in mind that you will need to supplement calcium and D aggressively no matter what the CC length is. Dr. Husted told me that he likes to be very aggressive with CC lengths and sleeve size to ensure that you have the best weight loss outcome possible.
