really bummed fluid free in my band
Hey ya'll
I am totally bummed. I had to make a mad dash to G.town this morning and have all my fluid drained from my band.
Sunday I started throwing up every single time something got to the opening of my band it got so bad tha****er wouldn't even go through, it felt like grating cheese on a grater ungodly painful. I figured removing the fluid would be uncomfortable with the needle being stuck in the port so long not to bad just a little tugging at the end and a funny pop noise when the needle came out like the port sealed itself around the needle.
Apparently I ate something and it got stuck.
So we start from the beginning and start refilling in 2 weeks.
The first few sips of water in the office were a little painful but on the way home I drank a forth of a Gatorade and ate some very very mushed up noodles from chix noodle soup and I am already feeling so much better.
So my advice to all is when in doubt please please call your surgeon's office like my husband told me to 4 days ago(yes I admit he was right)
Dr. Tom and Nurse Steve were completely awesome as usual and the new lady at the desk is extremely kind because I looked like I had been beat to death.
Hope all is well with everyone and your keeping nice and toasty with this crazy weather.
