I am starving

I have absolutely no idea what is wrong with me.
I am absolutely starving no matter how many calories per meals and snacks( I usually stay at about 1200-1500 a day)I feel absolutely totally hungry and my stomach is making hungry noises.
I am getting in all of my water(it's easist for me to put a gallon of water in the fridge at night so it gets good and cold and drink it the entire day)
I am getting all of my protein(still anemic as usual I just am not a big meat eater)
I get all of my veggies( I lower my intake of starchy ones though)
I get plenty of dairy( I eat cheese and reduced fat ice cream because milk unfortunately makes me physically ill and I ate so much cottage cheese and yogurt post op I can't stand the sight of them)
but for the last month or so it does not feel like I can eat enough. I don't think it is boreodm we have been so busy with  Mollie's school and sports and other stuff that we are gone just about every night so it's not like I am sitting in fron t of the T.V. and grazing.
I have not gained anything according to our scale and my clothes fit the same.

Anybody got any suggestions????

You aren't drinking with your meals or right after are you? The only thing I can really think of is that your food isn't staying in your stomach long enough to satisfy you.

Nope if I drink with mymeals the food feels like it is backing up my esophogas and I usually don't drink for 20 or so minutes afterwards.
I'll figure it out. I go see Dr. TOm on Oct 11th or 12th something like that

THank you for your reply

It will all work out. It might be that time of the month is coming. As long as the number on the scale doesn't go up it's ok

I have found it at ate me meat first it helps.  Protein takes longer to digest and will stay with you longer.  Then eat your veggies.

I thought we should wait up to an hour after eating before having something to drink?  I don't drink 15 min before eating, and at least an hour afterwards.

Yesterday I had a day where I was hungry all day (I described my day in my blog on my profile) & it was the first day in a long time where I felt like I was struggling to not eat everything in sight.  :(  I hope Dr. Sonnanstine can help you sort it out-my appt is coming up in October too  & I'll be asking about it!

(It is nearing my ToM, so maybe that is it?)

Another option.............head hunger????
I have a list that I can refer to when I am wanting to eat and should not be hungry.  I made one that is posted on my April 2008 blog.  I have modified it since but it has helped me a lot.

Maybe try to stay busy and keep your mind off of food.............Trust me, I know.  That is hard to do when we have to think about EVERYTHING we put in our mouths.  LOL

Just hang in there.  If you don't think it is head hunger, maybe talk to you NUT and they may have some suggestions.
