That is wonderful . I wish you guys luck with the move, packing, unpacking, house and school hunting. We lucked out and my dad bought us a ten year old foreclosure and got it for 88,000 and it is appraised for 155,000.
We had to put about 20,000 of our money into it. Because unfortunately for it to be such a younger place the people who were foreclosed on destroyed it. They left 11 dogs and 7 cats behind and the SPCA had to come and rescue them. They destroyed the oven/range and left it so dirty it looked like a housing project . The original carpet had been an off shade of white where we found a clean foot and the rest of it was a yellow shade. We had to rip up all the linoleum and replace it with tile. In fact things were so bad my dad had some of his fellow firefighters come and spray the entire house and we couldn't come back for 24 hrs. But in the end it was worth it. It looks brand spanking new and you would have never known it was such a mess.
Good luck with your house search
Love,
Wendy

and just think, even though you are crossing the river into another state you'll actually be CLOSER to the BABES!! I can get to Indy quicker than I can get to your house now so if you luck out and find a new house that is south of the Indy Loop you won't be able to get rid of us! I say the first gathering once you're moved needs to be to the Edinburgh outlets for some power Christmas shopping!
