Really bummed out
I was supposed to go to see Dr. Tom this afternoon. But last night at parents night at my daughters school I passed out on Patrick in front of 150 people that I don't know. Super embarrassed. So instead of meeting all of Mollie's teachers, I got to go meet the very very nice nurse practitioner, er doctor and nurse at Saint Elizabeth. The er docotr said I should cancel my appoinment with Dr. Tom just because of the drive and the fact that I was going alone. So I rescheduled for next month
Then today went for my yearly girlie parts check up and the doctor found a lump in my right breast about the size of a golf ball. So now I gotta go get the girls smashed in the mammogram machine next week.
This week if it's not one thing it's another

Wendy!!!!!!! Please keep me updated on your smashy mammo...I wish you lived over here near me and could come to my center...I would take good care of ya. ...I am sure all will turn out fine. I will say a prayer for you..please let me know how it all went. Now I will tell you it's not unusual to have an ultrasound after the mammo if they palpated a lump, so don't get scared if they want to continue..also, cyst are not uncommon as well as benign lumps..so don't worry and hang in there.!
please email me direct and let me know..I unfortunately don't have time to get on here lately ...I am working my patootie off at the Breast Center ...and loving it!!!
I admit I miss Dr. Sonnanstine like crazy, but we still keep in touch and talk when we can..hopefully we will find the time this weekend for a chat..He is doing so good in Gtown, I will throw him a text to see how he's doing...he's swamped with new patients as well as the ones who followed him and seeing other docs patients..he is awesome and I will tell you I have not seen him this happen in a very long time. I also keep in touch with his wife..she and the kids love it down there...his boys are playing football..isn't that the cutest thing??? they are adorable..
anyway, you keep pushing on that passing out thing..watch your sugar levels..make sure you are eating..we tend to slack off on the good eating habits after awhile..not to mention not drinking like we should.
Take care

Thanks for caring so much Brenda.
Next Thursday I will be poked, prodded and scanned. First a pelvic ultrasound, then a breast and pelvic CT, then a breast ultrasound and finally the squishing of the almighty boobs( s a man developed this machine because if he had to have is friends below squished like that they would develop something easier) I will literally be at Saint Elizabeth from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. They did find a lump about the size of a golf ball in the right breast but the Dr said she really believes it could be a very very large fibroid. She said cancer is not even in her top five things that it could be so that really really made me feel good.
They are doing the pelvic ultrasound and pelvic CT because the hernia that is starting to protrude at my c-section scar is spreading and she and my family Dr are unsure if it could be reproductive organs that have herniated after my emergency c-section, or it could be my bladder has been pushed up and out or I could have herniated a portion of my lower intestines. She said if it is any of these things she is very comfortable in the fact that they can be easily repaired laproscopically and would like to take care of it as soon as possible (she said it is such a sad thing that I and Dr. Tom have worked so hard to finally get my body into a rather nice and healthy looking shape just to be embarrassed and physically irritated and in pain by this.
She really wanted to coordinate my surgery( if need be ) with Dr. Tom she would prefer him working on any abdominal herniation and was bummed to learn he is no longer affiliated with St. Elizabeth so as of now it will probably be a docotor in Dwayne Smith's group.
I am very happy Dr. Tom is doing so well he really deserves it . Pat always says he really wishes we could have met under different cir****tances and had been friends versus patients and doctors just because he is just such a good quality family man and he seems like he is the kind of person that once you make friends with him and his family it's for life, and from everything I have heard about Deb she must be one incredible woman. Nurse Steve told me you couldn't meet a nicer family. He would also be someone that I would love to be friends with just because our personalities are so in sync. Pat and I actually developed a relationship with mine and Mollie's psychotherapist and have become extremely close friends. We e-mail and facebook each other almost everyday. Last week when Mollie and I were there for her therapy we determined that the 3 of us(Mollie, myself and Emily the therapist need to go shopping right after Turkey day).
It was a little scary and embarrassing passing out at Mollie's school thankfully Patrick and Mollie's social studies teacher kept me from hitting the floor. I felt fine enough to go home but the principal insisted that we go over to the hospital they gave me 2 bags of fluids(from the vomiting) in 2 different IV sites( Iwas way de-hydrated and they couldn't get a vein), some Zofran for puking, Benadryl because I was a basket case and pain medicine from the headache I was So embarrassed.
Oh well enough rambling as usual you and your family are always in my thoughts if you ever need anything or just someone to break the ice and make you laugh or smile please call me(859-640-90220 or e-mail me
Love ya,
Wendy

OMG Wendy...please keep me updated on how things go. My sister had to have one and had to have a piece of it taken out to test it. It came back to be a cis and they took care of it. Don't worry..just because its there...doesn't mean its the end of the world. Keep your head held up high and I'll be praying for ya. Wishing you nothing but the best outcome. Take care of your self.

THanks Sebrena,
For now I am not worried but once they say ok there is a definite mass in there then I will worry.
I knew I would have to get the hernia reapired eventually i was just hoping it would be once I hit goal weight but she said she feels like leaving it alone till then may do more harm them good.
Like I always say they went to (as my daughter puts it) doctor school I went to school for English ans Sociology, so I think I will trust them a little more than me
Hope life is going great for you,
Wendy
