I went tubing
It was a great weekend at the lake. I found out our Mastiff doesn't swim very well. She sort of sinks. However, it was very relaxing and so much fun on the water. Also, I tubed with the kids. Something I wouldn't have or couldn't have done before surgery. It was amazing. I feel and look like I have been beaten, but.... It was great. Also, the swimsuits I bought to go to Florida and June were falling off of me. That made tubing a lot more interesting. I lost my bottoms twice when I crashed. Fun Times!! Hope everyone had a great long weekend.

Hi there...missed you! I learned that I have a big mouth. Casey talked about excercise and gave out little resistance bands. George talked about emotional eating. I think the question of the night was what to do after you know you only want to eat for the comfort of it. I guess the retrain the brain thing. Old habits are just so much more fun in that moment. Relating the food addiction to any other addiction. Being able to take that desire and turn it into something else. As usual no easy answers, but ... I guess that's what the support meeting are for. Remembering what got us here in the first place and using our WLS to work for us.

I'm so glad to hear you had a great time for the holiday weekend. Time to get a new swimsuit! (LOL) Hope to see you at the meeting towards the end of the month. I'm home and doing well. Didn't realize how tired I would get, but take naps and that gets me up and around again. Getting my protein in and fluids. The weight is coming off and I'm so pleased with everything.
