Yup family support can be key during this journey
Went to church this morning and during our Communion our pastor prays over it and then our church elders pass communion to each pew. Well my dad is a church elder and today he and I were the only ones there from our immediate family. He happens to be passing Communion for our section of pews gets to the pew behind mine passes theirs to them walks right past me and up to the offering table and set the plate and little wine cups down and comes back and sits down next to me. I said why did you skip me and he said oh my gosh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention, besides just think of it as I was helping you in the weight loss fight by skipping you. I said yes dad you were a big help I'm not sure if my caloric intake could recover from the 1 oz. of welch's grape juice and the 1/16th of an inch of unleavened bread.
