Back to Work

HAd surgery last week to repair an internal hernia where my intestines had been kinking.
Stayed one night in the hospital.
Should be home, but have used up my leave time, so I am working light duty for a couple of weeks so I won't have to use any more leave.
Still sore and weak but feeling MUCH better overall.
I have 4 new scars on my tummy............it was lower that I thought and he couldn't use my old scars.

Good to hear that you are better. I had surgery in November for a kinking intestine but there was not a hernia.  Have done good ever since.   It still takes a good amount of time for my food to leave my pouch - for instance around 3PM I could drink water and belch some of y egg from breakfast!!!  TMI!  I am glad that you are on the road to recovery.  Lynne

Hey Leslie! Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Back at work on light duty and healing.  Trying not to push myself too much.
Went for a walk yesterday evening and have learned that walking up and down hills was a bit of strain for me at this point.
Gotta learn to take it easy.
