band slippage

I have recently been to the dr again  for another fill, even though I keep getting fills I am not losing any weight. Recently I went for an UGI and was told that there may have been a slippage of my band and that there may be no upper stomach but wont no for sure until we get the results back. Has anyone had this happen, any symptoms, and what is done for it?Please help, I have been very depressed and upset bc I cant seem to lose anything no matter what I do, I'm almost hoping this is what is wrong if its why I'm not losing. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks, Stacey

I'm pretty sure that if you've had a band slippage you will have to have surgery again. I don't know if they just place the band back in the correct spot or if they have to replace the band, not 100% sure on that. You might want to post this in the band forum and you may get more answers.
