what to do??
I NEVER felt hungry until after 4 months...and some times it is water my body wants. It has taken me awhile to get to the right amounts of water and protein and my surgeon said keep applying yourself and it will happen.
I am a chicken too I did not try much of anything..and to be honest still don't.
It is soooo hard to let go of the scale and to be honest I cannot give you any sound advice besides try to let it go...your body is adjusting give it time to heal. IT will come off if you work your program.
The best thing to remember is NOT to beat yourself up..we did not put it on in one day and we won't take it off in one day...
good luck

my edit, as for other peoples expectations...phooey! You did this for you and if they do not understand all you are going thru than don't let their expectations become yours. You will do it!!!! You made a change to better your life, not answer their expections. You willl do it...give it time.
Hello Sandy first of all Congrats on ur progress. When I was first I was on the scale everyday and getting frustrated so I made my loved oned hide it from me so I couldnt weigh myself everyday. I am almost 4 months out and down 63lbs, but I am a slow loser and that is okay hopefully I wont have to have alot of plastic surgery later on. Anyway I am also a patient of Dr. T and he told me that once I started on regular food to just eat until I'm satisfied. So I started out vey slow testing everything to make sure that it didnt comeback up. So far so good. Just make sure that you aren't drinking until atleast 30 mins after you eat and that u get your protein in before adding anything else. The Protein Plus bars are really good for a snack and they have 20 grams of protein in it. Just eat what u can. I would recommend egg whites over the whole egg for now as the yolk can be heavy on your pouch. Just take it slow and write down everything down.
