Vitamins....

Can someone help me find the vitamins I need. They told me to go ahead and be taking the one a day for womens vitamins so that I can get use to taking vitamins everyday. I'm trying to find a short cut in having to take hundreds of vitamins a day. I see where some take 5 a day and I see others that have the same surgery but take like 13 vitamins a day. So all in all ...I just want to know what kind I can get that is the best and not so hard to swallow. Just trying to get a start on everything. Hope everyone is doing well and Best of luck on the ones that have had the surgery and the ones that are also getting surgery.

Dr. Tom told us just your normal multivitamin like centrum or the generic form. I think you only have to add extra vitamins if you are lacking anything from your labwork.
This might be one of the cheapest and easiest things about this surgery.
The chewables are very easy post op(kinda gritty though) .

Good luck Sebrena I hope you are closer to deciding which surgery is right for you and again I am sorry i bit your head off earlier this week

haha thats ok Wendy. Kinda gave me a wake up call. But I think you'll be glad to know...I've decided to have the Rny if I can get it with my insurance. I have so much that I need to lose and I'm afraid with the Lap Band that I could cheat my way around it. But thanks for the response...I have a paper thats got all the vitamins that I will probably need to get, but was told that I could possibly get some that had two or three of the vitamins in one. But thanks. Hope all is well and best of luck on the weight loss!

You can get them at Walgreens for $26.00 a bottle. They use to ship it for free when you order it on line but they haven't done that in a while. We have a Walgreens in Huntington, WV now and they are building on in Barboursville. If you go on line and sign up for their emails they will send you $5.00 off coupon for a $25 dollar purchase.

I am so glad you have made your decision there are some great people on here who have had the RNY and are full of tons of knowledge and support.
I feel so bad that I was sooo rude to you I was just really worried for you.

Good luck on everything

No worry....glad that you are looking out for me though. Just the thoughts of surgery was really scaring me and I need to do something....something that will help me shed the pounds I need to get off. But don't worry about it...I forgive you lol Still have a few things I have to have done before the RNY, but I'm hoping it won't be much longer. Keep me up dated on the weight loss. Hope all is well
