Here we go.....

OK, first and foremost. If I have offended patients that choose other surgeons, I am truly sorry. That is never my intent. I know what everyone here is going through with regards to being obese and such and I also know that we all just want to be healthier and happier.  Whomever we choose to help us on that path is with whom we are comfortable.  As far as mentioning any other surgeons specifically, I didn't do that. In fact, I meantioned I have work with surgeons from Cincinnati on down south.  I never singled one out for any reason.  I believe every surgeon that I have worked with has their strong points and their weakness, including the surgeon I have chosen.  As far as my working at a specific hospital, I have actually gone to my HR director and asked if I have done something unethical or wrong. She assured me I had not.  I was merely stating my opinion on a public message board directly associated with bariatrics. I also did this as  A PATIENT, NOT AN EMPLOYEE, even though I had indicated that I worked with him. I did say this to my HR director, again, with her assurance I had done nothing unprofessional, unethical, or wrong.  I am sincerely sorry LouisLouis was upset. I am very glad you had a great experience with Dr. Weiss. I hope you are doing well and are healthy and happy, truly. I was never once maligning any doctor, even though I was accused of it..("we all know who you are talking about"). Again, I was not making reference to one doctor or another. This was simply my opinion, as I stated in the original post. I am Dr. Sonnanstine's patient, first and foremost. I know about his successes and his complications. Again, THIS WAS NOT AIMED AT ANY SURGEON, BUT MERELY STATING MY SUPPORT OF MY FRIEND AND SURGEON. Please, lets just get over this.  It is getting beyond ridiculous now.

I don't know what happened and I don't care to.   But I thought I'd just chime in and say Dr. S is my doc and I am absolutely thrilled with the care I have received.   He's great.
