Hi everyone.  Just thought I would leave a quick message. I am a patient of Dr. Tom's and I am having surgery, hopefully in 1-2 months. He is the best (even if his choice of music is a bit iffy....).  I also wanted to mention this to help stop the hate mongers. I work with him, in surgery. I am sure some of the other bariatric docs or PA's may read this, and that's ok.  This is my opinion. I work with him. I have worked with others from Cincinnati to central KY.  He is the only one I would let touch me. That is not to malign others, but to enforce my faith in his abilities and skill. He is extremely good at what he does. Despite what others may say, questioning his experience from the amount of cases he does or his complication rates (its surgery...EVERYONE HAS THEM, INCLUDING OTHER SURGEONS!!!), I have complete faith in his abilities and the fact that he cares very much about his patients.  So, if it helps, someone who works with him (and he doesn't pay me at all....I work with him, not for him) is waiting impatiently to let him operate.

p.s, His complication rate is low.....esp since he does patients that others have refused for various reasons.  You would be amazed at the cherry picking of patients that occurs.

I agree he is an awesome doctor ,what he done for me he went above and beyond .
I miss him being here and cant wait to my visit.
But i dont think there are any hate mongers on here as far as he is concerned.
There are alot of good people on here who try to help everyone and i havent seen alot of negativity lately.
I recoomend him to everyone if they live within the distance to drive but i tell everyone how he saved me not once but twice.
good luck on your surgery

Hate Mongers?  I think that's a pretty poor choice of words, Hope.  I don't believe there are so many "hate" Mongers on here and I have to ask,  Things have settled down so much, why you would decide to post with such words to get folks talking and posting about hiim once again?

There are hate mongers everywhere. Its a reality. Not just in the world of bariatrics, but in all healthcare.  There is a lot of competition.

The operating room.  But thank you for number 1, your wrong word usage (it's two, not to), and 2.  He is my surgeon and friend and co-worker. I have nothing but the utmost respect for not only him, but his wife and two children.  I have met his wife several times. She is a very nice person. But nice to see you have chosen to be tabloid-ish and disrespectful.

Thank you so much for the correction.  Tabloid-ish?, you got that out of a few words. hmmm. I simply ask where you work.  And thanks for sharing about his wife and children, though I have no idea why that point was made.

The way your comment read, to me and the couple of co-workers *****ad it while I was viewing this website at work, took it as something  unsavory. If we were wrong, I apologize.
