Dr. Shina Rocks! ... Literally!

Did you guys know that Dr. Shina is a drummer in a local band?  Check out the website - Noteworthysite.com for more information and videos!  I'm impressed.  I think we should have a party and let him provide the entertainment!  lol 

He did surgery on a friend of mine here in Frankfort and he lost ALL his weight.  I wished i had known about him in 2003 when i had my RNY with Dr. Bolar.  I had a problem 3 months out where all of a sudden my food didn't stay with me, i would eat and be hungry right after and could eat much more than other RNYers.  I went to Dr. Bolar and he told me to just eat a cup of food three times a day.  That didn't help me.  i gained back all my wt.  Recently I had a upper GI done and discovered my stoma and pouch had stretched out...wayyyy out.  That explains what had happened.  All these years i have felt like a failure.  i am just glad I decided to have a revision and the tests revealed it wasn't all my fault. 

What causes the pouch and stoma to stretch out on some people and not on others?  I'm sorry you had this problem, but glad you are going to have another chance with a revision.  Good luck to you!
