I live out off of 111 on Budd Rd. on 26 acres in New Albany, Indiana.  We had so much water it was scary.  All of the little creeks and streams in our area were so flooded that the fields around us were raging rivers.  All the bridges on Budd road, Gap Hollow, 2 mile lane and 5 mile lane were covered in a good 6 feet of water or more.  Our pond and our neighbors pond overflowed and left debris in road.  We were unable to get down our road and out to work.  Most of Budd Road received extensive water damage!  One home lost the foundation around their basement!  There was a mud slide on one of the horseshoe pin turns on Budd Rd.  The water has receded, but you can see the remains of all the trees and limbs that were swept away.  Fences were down, and one of the bridges down 5 mile lane has some damage.  I was afraid to cross it yesterday.

I'm glad that is over and I hope to never see anything like that again!  We received 6 inches of rain in 75 minutes plus hail !  What a mess!
