INSURANCE
First thing you need to do if you are looking into WLS is to call the Customer service number on the back of your card and ask them if your contract has coverage for weight loss surgery for morbid obesity. If they say yes, then let me know and I will get you everything you need to know about the medical policy and the criteria you have to meet.
I see you have lost a great deal of weight and you must be proud of your decisions. I am just getting started and I am having a difficult decision deciding on the band or the by-pass. Can you give me advice? I hate these forums and don't know all there is to know about them, so in case-I'm [email protected]'m 65 years old and 325 lbs. I consider all advice. Thanks ---John

As far as specifics on how much you will pay out of pocket you would have to either look at your benefit booklet regarding inpatient hospital, surgical professional fees etc.

I have my lap band surgery scheduled at Ehrlich Bariatrics next month. Do you have any suggestions for me?
