Greek Yogurt in KY

I'm trying to get prepared for my surgery in September and I've been hearing a lot about Greek Yogurt, but everyone suggests going to some Trader Joe's place and I'm pretty sure there aren't any of those around here lol. Anyone know where I can get some greek yogurt in KY. Making it to Lexington wouldn't be a problem for me.  Thanks!

Both Whole Foods at Lexington Green and Fresh Market on Tates Creek road sell it, I have also seen it at the Kroger on Richmond Road, so some Krogers do sell it.

Ok thanks, I had looked at the Kroger where I live but I live in a tiny little place so didn't expect to find it here. I'll have to check out Whole Foods and the Krogers in Lex.

Hi Krispygale!  Two things:  First of all, Congrats on your upcoming surgery- it's a great idea to plan ahead and be ready for the upcoming weeks.  Secondly, We have a son & daughter-in-law who now live about 25 minutes from Trader Joe's in Indy.  We absolutely love it and take a cooler for the cold and frozen things and stock up.  I was not over impressed by the Greek Yogurt there.  It was OK, but I can live without it.  There's some fine nutrition in many of the other kinds of yogurt, and you may find like I did, that you may  have a new taste and appreciation for cottage cheese.

So nice to see Kentucky people here!  Yayyyyyyy!  Where the nice people are, ha ha ha.  I'll tell ya, I am 57 years old and have NEVER and I mean NEVER met so many rude people as I have met here on the boards in the last couple days....I ask a question and get called names or insulted.  NOBODY from Kentucky would do that.  They would just be considerate and answer the question or if the question irritated them, they would just look over it and not respond at all.  So good to be here!

I got a large container of Fage greek yogurt at Kroger I beleive.  It is awesome! Fage is a brand so just keep looking you may find some yet.

I found mine at Kroger, too, but ours wasn't in the "yogurt" section.  It was in the organic section.  Might see if your store has an organic foods section and look there.  It's in a seperate area of the store at my Krogers.  Might ask a stock guy.

Thanks everyone...I guess it's time to head to Lexington and search through their stores. My local Kroger is so small that there isn't an organic section in it! The joys of living in a small town
