Looking at the Before and After pictures

I was just sitting and looking at the before and after pictures that are at the bottom of the screen.  I am on there.  It feels like such a long time ago when I sent that picture in.  I also saw some of the old friends who always posted on here  all the time.  It just made me wonder how they are.  So Sarah, Vicki, Maureen Angela  if you guys are out there how are you doing?  

I have been wondering about these people myself, it is good to see you are still here. How has everything been going. It seems that things are getting harder and harder since my surgery on 10/19/2005. I can eat a whole lot more and have gained about 10 pounds from my lowest weight. I really have to get back on track so as not to gain anymore. Nice to hear from you.

It is by no means easy.  I am at a weight of about 175.  But I feel great in a size 12-14.  I am 49 years old.  My lowest was 150 so do I feel like I am failing.  NO WAY.  I still stay up on my check ups.  I am able to cheat but I pay.  I dump and it is bad.  I am able to graze and that is my problem.  I try to make good choices.  I really don't think it is what I eat as much as what I am not doing physically.  Right after the surgery, it felt so good to be able to move.  It took very little movement to drop pounds.  Now that I am in better shape it take a good hour of walking hard to break a sweat.  So I take everyday and thank god I am where I am.  It is an amazing journey and I still am not done yet.  I am thinking about surgery next summer for the skin.  I have issues and I am tired of wearing so much lycra to keep everything in.  I have a new job for the past 2 years.  These people just can't believe I was ever 311 pounds.

Don't worry about 10lbs.  Just keep telling our stories.
