There are different sellers of bariatric vitamins out there. I had been on vitamins i ordered from Bariatricsupplement.com for the last 9 years. BUT we are now going to have the DS and I hear there are other places that are also good like Bariatric Advantage. i know VitaLady had the surgery and started selling the vitamins, but i don't know about where she gets hers to sell. I am just looking for the best vitamins out there for DS and what are you supposed to take? Do you all know?
My surgeon told me to take 4 flinstones chewables, vitamin b-12 and 1800 calcium citrate a day
I don't do that though-
I take
4 multivitamins from Costco (going down to 2 a day starting next week)
1 dry vitamin D3 50K from Vitalady.com every day
1 dry vitamin A from Vitalady every other day
2 regular vitamin E from Costco every day
1 dry vitamin K from Vitalady 3 days a week
1 Super B complex from Costco every day
10 Calcium Citrate pills every day
please feel free to call me or join us at a DS Support Group Meeting

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

Hey Vickie,
Thanks for this information. We were just talking about this last night. Dinner with everyone was so much fun. I can't wait until the next one.
GoingCrazyinKY....you misses a great one. Just what I needed to talk with folks that have been through the paces for a while to learn what works and doesn't. Try and make the next one. Great information and great new friends.

Dr. Husted suggested taking Bariatric Advantage vitamins and i was wondering what you think about them?
I never took them so don't know anythng about them. I think she suggested taking the chewables cause some people have a hard time swallowing pills. For me, it was much easier to swallow pills than it was to choke down those nasty chewables. You may be different.
