Introduction

Hello everybody. I wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I live in Somerset, KY and just recently had surgery with Dr. John Husted. Any other DSers or Dr. Husted patients here? Anyone from Somerset or thereabouts?

I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the board! Congrats on your new journey and I hope you have great success and will share your story with us!

Thank you for the welcome. I'm very excited about this journey. I have had a couple of minor complications, but I'm doing very well at around a month out. I've lost just over 30 pounds, and really looking forward to losing more!

Hello and Welcome!!!  Dr. Husted is my surgeon...I will being having surgery on July 17Th....I live in London, Ky I am just about 45 minutes from his office...
So... I am glad everything is coming along great for you!!  Can you tell me what complications you had?  Also can you tell me a little bit about the before diet,  what you ate, what kind of protein powder did you drink....If you don't mind me asking what did you weigh the day of surgery?  I hope I haven't ask to many questions...lol....Sorry if I have!   Thanks so much and look forward to hearing from you!!  God Bless You!!!   Shannon
