for those who have upcoming surgeries at nortons i spoke to the hospitality house today. it is 29.00 a night and they different size rooms. they all have twin size beds and i believe they vary from 1 to 4 beds in them and they have roll away beds if needed.  they dont make reservations due to not knowing how long the current occupants are staying..but u can call the day before and they will put u on the list. it is a non smoking facility, not sure about pets. nortons told me there is even a shuttle for transportation from the hospitality house to the hospital but that is not ran by the h.h. i hope this helps anyone who may need it.   the number is 502 625 1360
looking forward to what the future holds...

I stayed there for a week when Dale had his triple bypass and then had to be admitted to ICCU for pneumonia with it.  They are a very secure facility....not the Ritz mind you but it was clean and comfortable to say the least. After all...you are really just there to sleep. It was a little efficiency type room with all the ammenities. They even have fresh food, etc...available if you need it. I brought in my own food though. The shuttle runs on limited hours so be sure to check them out too!  The convenience was worth it!  They operate and furnigh with donations so keep them in mind if you ever need to get rid of something that is still in good shape. They appreciate anything.
