I don' t know much, but there  is an exit from I75 to Gtown that is about 1 1/2 miles from the hospital.   There is probably a Hampton Inn, not sure what else, but there are most likely several.   Just search the net for hotels in that area.   So far as discounts, call the hospital.   If there are any, they'd know.
BTW, they'll let your husband stay with you if you get a private room after you get out of ICU...

Check the internet hotels in Georgetown KY. also my husband and i stayed at Ecno Lodge it was 52.00 after taxes was added .also they have a pool since my grandson went with us that worked out fine. There are so many hotels that im sure you will find what you need call the hospital the lady in the lab said there was a few that gave discounts for bariatric patients . GOOD LUCK. PS if you can let the hubby stay with you once your out of icu always nice to have around and if you need a little time alone send him out to lunch. TammyM

The motels in G'town used to give discounts to the people who are having WLS at G'town hospital.  I think all you have to do is call the hospital for a list or maybe to see if they are still even doing this.

Good luck with your upcoming surgery.

I stay in G-town all the time and I stay at the MicroTel, it is clean, the people are friendly and it is cheap.  You might even be able to go to Long John Silvers there and find a discount for now.  Once you lock in a low rate with them you get it forever I was told.  I stayed 3 nights for less than 100 bucks last week when I had my port replaced.  Well I only stayed one night but my friend with me stayed two and we had two rooms so I figure that accounts for 3 nights.

I think the current rate is 44.95 and it is right next to all the bigger motels.  Takes less than 10 minutes to get to the hospital from there.  I would not even consider staying in one of the higher priced motels when I can stay there.
