friend of 13 years did a double take

Here is a happy story
I went with DH over to a friends business as he is going to help them with some computer issues.   My friend, Robyn, took me to my two week appointment with the WLS and hasn't seen me since.
I was walking towards the bathroom in her business and Robyn said the hi she would to any customer and then 1 INSTANT later- as I was beginning to turn away- her head did a double take. And she said "WOW!!!!" She was very complimentary and so nice.  She has always been a good friend and she is always supportive  but it sure was nice to surprise her!

YAY!!!!  Those are the ones that really make you feel good because you see yourself every day and it is hard to notice the overall changes.  When someone that hasn't seen you for a few has such a drastic reaction you begin to realize what huge changes you ARE making!  CONGRATUALTIONS!

That IS a happy story!  Thanks for posting it - I love hearing these kinds of things.  The way it makes me feel when someone reacts positively is indescribably delicious!  lol

I am sorry I have been out of touch on here the past 2 or 3 days or so.  I admit it - I have been addicted to Facebook applications (games) and I am so ashamed of myself for leaving reality and getting so engrossed in them.  At least I'm not eating more than I should!   LOL  But I should be getting this body up and moving it.

I am going to try to regain balance in my life - games are a reward, not a lifestyle!  LOL  (I need to keep repeating this to myself!)  I'm so glad you're doing so well!
