Yeah Dawn! Thank you. I'm too big to wear there items at this time but I'm going to look into their clothes come late September! I will hopefully be down to a size they have on that side of the store!
Dawn: I noticed your surgeon was Dr. Shina and you have a lapband. I know he isn't particularly happy with the lapband and was wondering what your opinion is on the lapband and how has the lapband after care been with Dr. Shina? My regular doctor thinks I should have the lapband but Dr. Shina doesn't seem to be too keen on that particular procedure. He says the success rate is too low.

DO NOT let a doctor talk you into a procedure... Ever...
You decide what is right for you.. Dr.Shina works for you... he will do what you decide.. YOUR THE BOSS!! My aftercare has had its ups and downs... His staff has sucky attitudes at times... Jamie and Holly are the only ones I deal with.. the rest are kinda moody.. Im not going to say I was Mark's biggest fan because I wasn't.. But he has really started to try and make up for those times.. He is not the best at bedside manner but he is honest and tells u like it is!!!
He is a great doctor and very funny, you just have to learn how to take him... Holly is the BEST and takes excellent care of me!!! If you want a band get it....
research your surgery options and choose the one u want, not the one he wants for u...
There is a girl on here right now that has lost 150 pounds with a band in lil over a year!!! she lost 120 at her year mark.. so the band works and continues to work..
Post the question on here about band versuses bypass.. see the responses you get..
If your a snacker, ice cream lover, the band isnt for u... If you have NO WILLPOWER, then you might want bypass... the band requires work from you.. it is a team effort. you and your band have to do your jobs...
