what I was saying is yes I helped put together vendor events for a local hospital. I quit that job two years ago but I really miss events. I would love to help with something like that again..
I will send you may cell and email address via PM
If and when I do the next one I will need all the help I can get..and I love getting patients involved.
we will talk about it probably more seriously in the fall., maybe for next spring.
but in the mean time we should put together a dinner or luncheon somewhere..sounds like all the Louisville folks are having a blast!!!!
To all you Ohio girls - lived in Franklin, Amelia, Middletown, Trenton, Dayton, Beavercreek, Morrow, Lebanon, and a few other small towns in and around Cincinnati, Ohio. I was born in Cambridge Ohio and moved with faimily to Dayton in the 1960's.
I moved down to the Louisville area when a job opened up in 2002 and I met my husband on the internet. He worked in Louisville and lived in New Albany, had for over 50 years. I have friends in Cincinnati, Springfield, Columbus, Akron and family in Kettering and Lebanon Ohio. To say I miss everyone up there is an understandment. But I have made some from lovely friends here in the Louisville area and it looks as though this is where I will be for quite a while. (7 years now) I work full time in Louisville. I am truly looking forward to the surgery in August. Yes, I am scared at times and wondering if I'm nuts, but there are other times that I know it will work and I will use the tool to become the thin person that lives inside of me. People say it is work to lose the weight using the tool, but think of how much work we've done in the past without the tool and had our ups and downs with that? I think the 'work' part is just part of the process of losing and maintaining the weight loss with a little bit of help from the tool - the pouch. I feel that if you respect the pouch and take care of the pouch, it will in turn take care of you. I admire all of you who have gone through the surgery and are working to become a better part of who you already are and I do the snoopy dance everytime I hear of another success or see another success! What a gift we've been given and what a gift I have yet to face! Good Luck to those about to have the surgery! The surgery is only the beginning of the rest of your life!
Hello to all of you there in Ohio! We are all in this together!
