Hello everyone.   I had my surgery on Monday (june 8).   Everythinig went great!   I had a revision (vbg to rny).   There is something I have to say to any of you considering this surgery and who to do it and where to have it:   Dr. Sonnanstine was/is terrific.   He checked on me often.  Talked AND LISTENED to me.    He called me back within 10 minutes when I had him paged and wasn't even bothered by it.  He was very reassuring and answered all my questions and just very helpful.   I suppose you have surmised that I am really pleased with him.. :)    Also... Georgetown Hospital was fantastic.   The nurses in the ICU and the Bariatric unit were all great!   They were freindly and fun and just really great at their jobs.   They came as soon as I called and ALWAYS asked me if there was anything they could do for me.   I wish I got that kind of treatment at home. lol

The beds and rooms were very comfortable with their own thermostats so I could keep the room as cool as I wanted it.   The whole experience (except for the pain) was just great.   Now I look forward to massive amounts of weight loss

I am glad to hear that everything went so well.  I will be having my RNY on July 8th.  Same hospital, same MD....  Did you have any problems? Congrats....
