NEED HELP> if you are a Anthem Member please read

We in Louisville need everyones help that has Anthem.  They are trying to cut off their contract with Norton Hospital and Providers because they dont want to increase their reimbursement rates to Norton.  This is ridiculous.   Ok I dont care if you dont use Nortons but if you are a Anthem Ins. Member can you please email [email protected] and tell them to stop the bickering with Nortons and get the contract settled.  many many of us will lose as our Bariatric Center is part of Nortons.   Can you help a fellow OH'er out

Thank you Pumpkin I appreciate it.   All will help... this has got to stop.   I will be out of a dr and a surgeon and so will millions of others just in Louisville alone.  Most of the hospital are owned by Norton 3 plus the Childrens Hospital.  Any help to jam his emails will be great   Thanks Again

I am in the same bariatric group as Vicki and also one of the Anthem red-headed step children!  Even though I am self-pay for bariatrics, just about everything else I do IS kept within the Norton's realm and I'd be losing several specialists for both myself, hubby and daughter.

This sucks!

Becka did you send a email to Mike Lorch... hope so lets jam his emails up... He has a auto reply up out of the office but the email doesnt go away he has to read them sometime or another.   I know him personally as he was one of my directors at one point during my 20 some years there and he is a lets just say a very unusal person.

I am currently in the process of waiting on BCBS to approve me for a revision and want to b ready If appeal necessary.  Any info you you can give would be appreciated

Lollie I dont have much more information that what I had in the email but if you are planning on a revision with any Dr.'s that go to Norton Suburban, Audubon, or Norton Hospital and even Kosairs is included patient care could potentially be jeopardized by the antics of Anthem

yes it would cause the kentucky FEP members are serviced by Anthem.   Any help would be appreciated
