Brenda, I know you don’t like attention drawn to the wonderful things you do for others, but I just had to tell this one. I know your mother is very ill, you had such anxiety about the birth of the twin baby girls (beautiful baby girls). You once again took time out to help a stranger in need. My cousin’s wife was banded a few months ago. She had a fill by a different doctor (I won’t mention names so you won’t yell) Later she had terrible chest pain and seemed to get sick even when drinking. She was told by this other surgeon the band was the problem and may need to come out.  I told her to speak to you after my words did nothing to calm her.  You told her to have the fill taken out and that you would meet her at the appointment if she needed support.  She emailed this morning to say she had an appt in an hour, you left work to meet her then went back to work after.
You are amazing. She told me she had a few bites of mashed potatoes earlier as well as fluid. With little to no former symptoms.  Looks like you may have been correct.... She “WE" think you are amazing. Thank you for the work you do!! Jonda
I knew you would make me remove this or edit it, thanks for letting me win by not deleting it.  lol

Jonda, please do not think I don't appreciate the support.  I do keep a low profile about things for different reasons.  I protect everyone involved.  The patient, the doctor and myself.
Things often times happen that are beyond the control of the patient as well as the center or doctor.  every patient is so different.   I love what I do because it is appreciated.  When it comes to care, I am 100% patient oriented.
I am glad she is doing well and that I could be there to help..

I have some stress in my life right now.  The babies birth is a huge load off my mind.  My mother was diagnosed with cancer once again.  It's actually bone mets.  Cancer which has spread from a main area (her lung cancer) which we had hoped was cured with a lung resection back in Nov.  the path report came back as being the same type of cancer.  We are all very sad right now and again stressed, the only reason I have been absent from most everything.  I try to spend as much time with her as possible, depending on her appt with the oncologist this Friday ..she will make her own decision on the treatment...I am going to imagine chemo as well as radiation on the large masses on both her left and right thigh will be in order and very grueling.  For now she is in a great deal of pain..
Thank you once again for your support and prayers.
Brenda
