THings to do in Louisville area..??
OK I have my sister in law and my neice and nephew arriving a week from tomorrow.
I'm trying to see if there is anything anyone recommends doing thats a "must do""
We will go to the Louisville Zoo,
Possibly do a cave tour.... Just want to see if anyone else had any cool places to visit
My neice and nephew are 7 and 4 so there on the younger side
Thanks

the Frazier Arms museum, my boys loved that, if they are skateboarders the skateboard park, also the waterfront park is fun, the water is on and you can just sit back and relax while they run and play, have them wear their water shoes. Sorry I think in terms of older kids but the waterfront park is good for little ones, they have swings and playground equipment there too
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

A bats game is fun too.
My son is 10 and absolutely loves the Fraizer Historical Arms museum...but he is a boy...ha ha
If you like historical homes filled with history go to Locust Grove it belonged to the sister of Clark the explorer. Farmington is another historical home in Lousiville also very nice. The little Loom House is about weaving. Hunter loved this when he was younger. Louisville Stoneware and glassworks are nice too. South of Etown, KY down under and dinosaur world...never been to those. IF you are thinking of Mammoth go on line and get the tickects the short tours fill early during the summer. That is great fun. I would also check if anyone is clostrophobic as the entry to some are narrow...just a thought...it bugged me and I had not seen myself as clostrophobic but only one time...go figure.
That is the extent of my knowledge.
hope they help get ideas

You all might enjoy going on a river cruise on the Belle of Louisville. Huber Farm in southern Indiana is a short drive from Louisville and always fun. It will probably be strawberry season when your family is visiting and you all could pick fresh berries.
Near Dinosaur World and Mammoth Cave is Kentucky Down Under. My son is 8 and went on a field trip there this year and loved it.
For indoor fun in Louisville, we love Puzzle's Fun Dome on Bluegrass Parkway (right off Blankenbaker Lane near Southeast Christian). They have several inflatable slides/bouncers, mini golf, glow in the dark basketball, a rock climbing wall, and some arcade games, too.
Have fun!

A few other places I can think of:
Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum (I think the track will still be open if they actually want to go to the races)
Muhammed Ali Center (haven't been myself but hear it is nice)
Kentucky Kingdom (ugh)
In E-Town there's the Coca-Cola Museum
Don't forget that the zoo here has the water park in it too so if you go there pack suits for the kiddos!
