icky question

Ok, so I have eaten too fast. My stomach gets uncomfortable and it takes me like 4 hours before I get sick.  Is this normal?  I read people get sick, but me I take forever to throw up and in the meantime I am uncomfortable.
I just wonder...is that normal?

I mean I know I am not normal, but is my stomach behaving normally?

I don't have an answer - perhaps you could get a faster one though over on the RNY board.  Meanwhile, I really hope you feel better soon, eating slower was the biggest and hardest lesson for me to learn.

It is very hard for me to throw up now. But when I was like 2 to 3 months out and ate too fast I get the foamies and then throw up. I don't remember it taking 4 hrs though.

I think it's normal, for what my 2 cents is worth! 

When I eat too quickly or don't chew well enough, I get that feeling of wanting to get sick without being able to.  It's maddening because I know I'd feel better if I could just get rid of it!   Although I rarely do get sick....it finally just works its way through.  I think we're all just different in how we react. 

I to take for ever to get sick.Just a few days ago i was eating to fast and went to get dressed to leave and the feeling hit me so i told the boys we will leave when i either fet sick or this passes.It took from 1 oclock til almost 6 before i was able to be sick,I get so uncomfortable that i have to set with my head back.So am i normal (no)but seriously its been like for about 6 months now i used to get sick right away.I have learned not to eat with the boys if they are in a hurry cause i eat to fast with them.
But i would say your stomach is in the norm.

I don't get sick as much now.  It just takes a while to figure out what you can eat.  I used to get sick for hours too.  Sometimes, it would just pass.  Othertimes, it would be a couple of hours then throwing up.  I tried to eat fish for the second and last time (lol) over the weekend.  I knew almost immediately that my pouch didn't like it.   I was able to vomit in 20 minutes.  Who knew I would be excited about that.  I am only 3-1/2 months out, but it is getting easier.
