i haven't posted , but i continue to come by and visit...
i usually post when i have questions and you all are a great support and fountain of information
i went for fill last week,
AND i finally have restriction....i find it is a whole new ball game, adjusting to what i can actually eat versus what i could eat before and
i have yet to quite figure out the signal for too full, but i am getting there.
do you all have any suggestions...?

my weight loss kinda stalled so i am hoping this will kick it (or me) back into losing again
Hope everyone has great weekend

BY THE WAY,  ANNIE , IT WAS GREAT MEETING YOU, WISHED WE COULD HAVE VISITED LONGER , BUT FAMILY IN BIG HURRY, (DID YOU GET ANOTHER FILL?)

My "full" signs are increased saliva, hiccups and small burping.   First though it is a subconscious "done" and I find I am distracted from eating.  If I pu**** I get the symptoms I just desribed...if I push beyond that....well, I have pulled over on the road to give back lunch before and just yesterday I made my boss let me out on the highway to barf.  Sometimes the signs are so subtle I miss them....sometimes the signs are like a brick wall.  Everyone is different and everyone has different triggers.  Stress makes me tighter than a knot and cold things also make it harder to eat.  Flying is a guaranteed clear liquid diet for two days.  Heavy-duty exercise seems to restrict me as well; but not for long.  Good rule of thumb is: If it doesn't work once, try it agan later and take note of the cir****tances.  If it doesn't work twice; try it again later and take note of the cir****tances; if it doesn't work the thrid time...it will NEVER work

Cathy and all!
I too got good restriction after my fill last week. It has been a long time , but I'm so grateful to finally get some help from my band. It has taken 7 or 8 fills and 9 months to get to what I feel is good restriction. I'm so glad I didn't give up . The challenge now is not to eat around my band. It was great to meet you too and I'm thrilled we are starting to lose again.
Happy Memorial Day everyone!!!
Annie

hi annie..i talked with dr tanner , i was under the impression i had 10 cc band and i knew i had over 7 cc put in..i told him i was really concerned about no restriction---well, to make long story short.. i have 14 cc band and after i left friday, i have total of  8.5cc filled....
i am so glad about the restriction, but i am having trouble finding things i can eat without lot of pressure.....i haven't been sick a lot just mainly the pressure......but hey, i am not complaining...hope you have great holiday.. keep me posted...
by the way annie, are you on norton's friends list on facebook?
