protein bullets???

Does anyone know where we can get these?  I am still working on the protein....U-G-H!! I swear I do not like the smelll or flavor they make me sick.  I have got to do more...or I will end up living on slim fast low carb shakes or EAS,.
And when I eat I am too full for shakes....ugh.  It is quite a challenge for me.
   I have tried to find the protein Eggface recommended but no luck here in my town. I have tried many.
   I appreciate your help

GNC - you know, that health store in the mall.  I don't know what the names of the bullets are...I never buy them.  I think at GNC they are like 6 or 7 bucks each.  To much for me for one shot of something.  Have you tried Googling Protein Bullets?

I think I read the bullets aren't good for us - don't remember where I read it.  It was either the wrong type of protein for our RNY selves or it was too much and the body couldn't absorb it all or something.  Sorry - i'll see if I can find out where I read that - it may have been in an Unjury newsletter or something  LOL 

Ok - I did a search with the key words "protein bullet and RNY".  Here's what I found - there's a controversy about this so you might want to read up on it yourself and decide.

FYI- The New Whey protein bullets are NOT the kind of protein that WLS people need. Almost two-thirds of the container (a test-tube looking thing, thus the name protein bullet) is collengic protein. This is pre-digested protein, meaning that WLS people will NOT absorb hardly any of it. Because it's PRE-DIGESTED. We need whey protein isolate ONLY. Read your labels!  These protein bullets were designed for body builders. Somewhere along the line, the WLS community picked up on this product and ran with it. It's not the kind of protein that we will absorb.  The collengic (pre-digested) protein is a form of a time release protein that body builders need, not us. Plus, they are WAYYYY too expensive to be buying and not absorbing any of it. Save your money and make a shake! With whey protein isolate, of course!  How do I know this? I work at a Vitamin Shoppe. Hope this helps!

Thanks....I am having HUGE trouble with protein shakes. Holly suggested I look at them, but I will just have to deal with low carb slim fast . I bought some sugar free syrups...they are pretty artifical tasting. But I added touch of  vanilla and could tell the alcohol...so had to buy the syrup. So now s/f syrup hopefully I will like it.
Today I drank about 35 grams this am...whoo hoo...added whey fortress to a drink. Whoo Hoo!

          I'm having the same issues,  I can't stand the smell or the taste of the protein shakes.  I am on with the vitamins, drinking the water but the protein shakes are just nasty.   Need to find something else to drink too as the water is getting old, the crystal light is to sweet.  So far 1% milk, refried beans w/cheese, the sf popcycles are what seems to be working.  PLEASE let me know what you find.

You might try at Wal-Mart.  Ours carries the protein bullet for $1.97 and they don't tast too bad.  Reminds me of sugar free Jello that hasn't set.
