New Swimsuit

Hello everyone,
 
I was at Sams today and just picked up a black swimsuit.  It fits!!  It is a size 16.  Not a 16 womens, just a regular 16.  OMG!!  I just can't believe it.  I will be on the beach in Destin in a month in a regular size suit.  WOW!!

LOL, I did look at the 14.  However, I don't know if my boobs would ever fit into it.  There is always something.  I have absolutely no butt.  My best friend always teases me that I should just fall over because of how my weight is distributed.

Being excited about a swimsuit is such a non-fat girl thing.

Becky I have the same body shape issuses. I am in a regular misses 14/16 from the sternum down but then in the boobs I'm in a 18 womens. I can't buy a pants suit and if I buy a dress my mother -in-law(who is a god send and had the surgery to) has to alter the heck out of the garmet oh well I'd rather be thinner and healthy than be the right proportion clothing wise

I bet by the end of the summer, you'll be in a 12!  By Christmas, we won't even be able to see you!  LOL! 

Really, congrats!  I can't wait until I can shop without any W's by the numbers!! 

Oh my gosh that is awesome!! Congrats.. That has to be the best feeling ever.. How fast have you lost if you dont mind sharing? I am 8 days post op and begining to think it isn't gonna work on me lol..

I remember feeling the same way like I wasn't losing but everyone around me kept noticing. I think we live so long with this negative self image that it takes a bit for that ray of sunlight to shine through but it will and you are only 8 days out you may be a little swollen. Just have faith in yourself. You will be in my thoughts 

I just had my 3 month checkup yesterday.  My RNY surgery was 2/13/09, Friday the 13th.  I have lost 52 since surgery and 15 before, so 67lbs gone.  It is funny.  It is awesome and it is coming off quick.  I think it will just seem more real to me when I get under 200 lbs.  That will be the first time in 12 yrs.  I will be out of all my "skinny" clothes in the closet.  Actually, by that time, it will be empty.  Then I will just where the same thing all the time.

I have no regrets.  I feel so much better.
