I'm home

surgery was Thursday morning, Dr. Tanner was great, he came to see me even when he was suppose to be off.  I won't say it was a walk in the part but it wasn't  to bad....  The worst part was the drain tub removal the morning I was released, then the six hours it took to actually get out of the hospital.   Because I had a three hour drive I had to stop every thirty minutes and get out for 15 minutes because of blood clots.  I still hurt but once I get a routine I think things will be easier.  I'm not one to set idle or have some one else to care of me so if I can get past this next few days I will have this part licked( my waiter isn't to bad either, Blondie, blue eyes, deep southern draw and 6 years old. He brings me cool rags for my forehead and he sits and holds my hand or reads to me).....   Thank you all for your kind words of wisdom and support!!!  I hope to meet some of you one day.  I'm so thankful to be on the losers bench with you.

Congrats and welcome home! Sounds like your waiter is a keeper! :)  Just stay positive...take it one day at a time and sip and walk!

Congrats on your surgery!  Your six year old sounds like a delight.  Isn't it wonderful to be home after the hospital?  I'm glad you're on the losers' bench now!
