I am home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Brenda, thanks for the thoughts and concern.  I will have to download the pic of my surgical team when I get a chance and learn how to do it.  And he kept telling me how great I look too....I told him I had a blind surgeon doing my surgery! hehe  I know what he meant but man I think I looked like hell, hair all crazy, no makeup, bruised,  what a train wreck.  But he is so good about making sure you are in no pain the entire time you are at the hospital it is just amazing how much he truly cares for his patients.  I will talk to you later.....I will call it may be a day or two though....Donna

whenever you are up to it give me a call...I work wed-sat this week..take care and get rest..but also get up and move..the sipping gets easier and unfortunately so does the eating...ask me how I know..
so take advantage of the next few months...you will do great!!!!

Your time will be here before you know it.  Thank you for the good thoughts.  And really the pain is not what I thought it would be.  Really sore I think more than anything.  The only problem I have is I tried sleeping in my bed last night.....HORRIBLE!  I usually sleep on my side or my stomach and trying to sleep on my back just did not cut it.  I will be sleeping on my softer sofa for a few days until all the soreness is gone.  If you have a recliner that might be something you want to do when you come home.  Keep me posted on your date.  Thanks again,  Donna

Welcome home Donna.  Glad you are feeling well and that everything went well.  I hope to be joining you soon.  They told me Thursday that I should have insurance approval by tomorrow, so everybody keep your fingers crossed.  Gtown is where I am going as well....
