appointment with dr. allen

I am a patient of Dr. Allen.  I was wondering, I haven't gotten a fill in about 2 months. I had to cancel my appointment with him last time, because I was vomiting.  But everything is ok now. I now feel ready to have another fill, they say the next appointment is in May. But I am going on vacation 2 days before the appointment.  So my question is, do they let you see other doctors up there (in the same office) for fills? or do you need to say with you own doctor?  thank you if you can help

That is a good question - sorry I don't know the answer to it.  I see Dr. Kehdy.  I had to postpone an appointment recently, but was able to reschedule the next week.  Maybe that would be an option for you?  To get an appt. the next week?

I've never heard of anyone seeing another doctor in the group for a fill.  Four people in my family are banded by this group so if they let ya do it I imagine our odds of having it done by another are pretty good!  I have however had my surgeon see me on his "non" bariatric day at his other office.  I forget what Dr. Allen's "day" is......Monday I tihnk?

Maybe call the office and ask the scheduler to see if they can slide you in a few days earlier or talk to Dr. Allen's nurse and see if she can work any magic on him seeing you at an alternate time or location.

I'm a Dr. Allen patient... However I'm not much help.. I think if your having trouble or issues they would bring you in to see another Dr.. However I'm not sure about fills... I would call and ask.. Can't hurt.. worst they can say is NO..lol
He usually does fills on Thursdays.

Yep...Thursday is fill days with Dr Allen and he does his own fills. No other Dr does them for him. BTW...welcome to the board...maybe we will meet sometime in the waiting room! Lol
