Greetings to friend son the Ky board!
Hi I am 4 weeks out today. I can say it has not been completely smooth, but it is going good. I still find it tough to get all the protein in, but the doc says just keep plugging away. So, plug I do. I have increased my water and protein, I am doing pretty well with the vitamins too. I had a schedule and now I am changing that up a bit and making a new one. I have had to add iron.
I have done well I think with the pounds. I am at 35 pounds lost. How amazing is that??? I am very happy with that and I have not hit that dreaded 3 week stall. I will just keep plugging away. Hubby has said I may not weigh everyday. He is right, but it is hard not to- gosh is it hard.
I miss my veggies, but since I am not getting all the protein in I have not had any yet. I have been completely surprised about how I have not physically missed food. I have not "craved" any sweets. My head misses them when I see them, but I do not miss them. I just remind myself that I am not hungry for them and I certainly do not need them. I miss the ability to drink water and not just sip.
In all I would not trade this journey- it has been amazing.

Congrats girl - you are headed in the right direction - keep on pushing, a great attitude like yours is a must have!
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

Have you tried Isopure or Isopure plus? I know you can get Isopure at GNC. It's like Kool-aid, instead of a sweet shake. I got some of the plus online. It was a nice change to shakes. It's a pre-made drink and comes in a variety of flavors.
