Wendy, I for once agree...don't let any of this discourage you, only remember that when you post something you open yourself up for this.  take it with a grain of salt.  I honestly don't think people would be this open if it were not in type. somehow I just don't see people acting like this in person.  Do you?

if ya wanna vent, call me.  This just isn't the place.  please.... 

I am not absent from here for any reason other than I am busy.  I have so much going on that I don't know which way to turn.  Been on vacation to see my son, DIL and granddaughter.  working 5 days a week and keeping my grandson in the evening.  I just don't have time for the computer. 
I get an email stating more stuff on the board but I had decided to stay away.  Then came in tonight to see what's happening.  As you know I don't like folks talking about me or for me.  So please remember I can take care of myself..lol
I didn't make it to dinner last night because today is my hubby's bday.  We had a huge cookout with both sides of the family and friends today so I had lots to do.
maybe next time.  Hope everyone is well and having fun.  let's get back to what this board should really be about.  Healing, friendship and support.

Everything that is going on is completely and totally my fault I opened my mouth an said someimes this forum felt cliquish and highschoolish and it opened a whole can of worms. The words in my head were not coming out in my typing.
I appreciate all of the advice, support and friendship that people have given me but I clearly hurt  a lot of peoples feelings.

As for the things that were directed at you and any of Dr. S staff and him personally I am clueless as to what any of that is about. all I know is Pat and I are following him to G.towne and are very excited for his professional and personal move.

I hope you enjoyed your time with the new baby and I am sorry you came back to all of this hullabalu.

If you hear from Dr. S please let him know Pat and I can't wait to see him and all of his staff and have a million questions about baby's, karate, skydiving, and mountain repelling(wow weightloss does alot for bravery) oh and last but not least amusement parks.

Narcissism is categorized as a personality disorder by the mental health profession.  It is referred to as NPD or Narcissistic Personality Disorder.  Few are ever diagnosed because few go to therapy.   Narcissism is not high self-esteem, but a condition where the typical narcissist suffers from

• Preoccupation with hiding real or perceived flaws
• Overestimation of  importance, achievements, talents and skills
   
• Maladaptive attention seeking behavior
• Inability to empathize with others
• Excessive anger and shame in response to criticism often resulting in rage

The narcissist will often manipulate others, especially partners,  to control them.  Projection and blame are hallmarks of this manipulation.

How many narcissists does it take to change a light bulb?

(a) Just one -- but he has to wait for the whole
world to revolve around him/her


(b) None at all -- he hires menials for work that's beneath him/her.

isn't that the dude that fell in love with his own reflection and died of frustration?  or are we all just really bored now?

Look folks I  do not not know how many times I need to apologize for my selfish comment about the high school  thing and the cliquish thing I just really hope that we can mvoe on from it.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about any bloggers surgery choice(as they should do what is the best and most healthy decision for them) I also can not bad mouth this surgery versus that one as the only experience I have had is gastric banding I have heard numerous success stories with everyone's choices and very very few regrets.

As far as surgeons I have only met my surgeon Dr. Sonnanstine and other than the doctor patient relationship I know nothing about this man or his family nor do I believe it be mine nor my husband(also a patitent) or anyone else's. He did an excellent job on myself, husband, mother-in-law and three cousins so I believe his surgical reputation speaks for itself.

I also have heard nothing but great stiories from bloggers who have used other doctors and am so happy for their succes.

Can we please all be adults and get over my stupid comment and move on with more impotant things like dreaeded swimsuit season and I am sure some of you know people who are getting married this summer and you need to start hunting fot the perfect outfit to show off all your hard work
