I am three weeks out and would like some food options.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of things I can eat that might fulfill the protein requirements.
I feel like I am not doing well, though I eat protein at all my meals...just protein. I try to drink a shake or two a day and I don't feel as if I am getting  it.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated-

Not sure what all you have been eating but some of my faves were:

cheese (The Fat-Free Laughing Cow cubes or string cheese)
refried beans
grilled or baked Tilapia (it is very soft and was easy for me to digest)
Lentil or Bean soup
Some Marinara sauce with mozzarella and ricotta cheese
Olive or Pepper Tapenades - just a spoonful can give your taste buds a boost!

Just a few off the top of my head as I close out the day at work!

Take care.

Shelly's Baked Ricotta

8 oz of Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 large Egg, beaten
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave.

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.
