questions about final appointment w\ dr sonnanstine

Hey guys! 
I go this week for my last appointment and to set my RNY surgery date.. Does anyone know what all I can expect at this appointment? I know they have told me a few things I will have to do, but I guess I am just looking for any advice I can get on what to expect...

First off you won't regret choosing Dr. Sonnanstine.
I had the lap band but can give you some post surgery recovery tips:
Wlak, Walk, Walk as much as you can in the hall at the hospital, Hold a pillow up to you chest  if you feel the need to laugh, cough, a move, the first night or two sleep slightly elavated this has less of a pulling affect. By baby plates and bowls(most $1 stores carry them) .

And last but not least  don't be shoked if you cry  for absolutly no good reason it's temporay and it's usually from the anethsia.

When I got my date all they did was weigh me, took my blood pressure and I spoke to Dr. S. for a few minutes and he just went over what to expect the day of surgery and while I was in the hospital and anything else I was concerned about.  Now tomorrow I go to meet an internal medicine doctor (you have to have one while you are in the hosp. they said) and my pre-op class.  Aren't you going tomorrow?  You may be in the pre-op class with me.  I think that is all I am doing tomorrow.  Hope to see you there.....Donna

YES! I do go tomorrow.. They called and scheduled my date this morning and tomorrow I will see the internal medicine dr (Dr. B somethin) I will do my galbladder ultrasound, meet with dr S and who knows what else I will be doing.. I will be in the class at 3 I think. Then after tomorrow I won't see them again until my surgery date. What is your date?

Have you had your cardiac appt. yet?  I am not sure who the internal med. dr. is they did not tell me.  I believe my class is early since I have to be there at noon.  Who knows I may be in the one at 3. I am going to have white pants with a blue and white top on.  I have short brown hair with gray in the part.....cause I have not colored it yet.....YUK!!!!! I have to sign all my consent forms etc.  My surgery is next wednesday.  Coming up fast!

Oh awesome. I have to be there at 7 am and my class isnt until 3. I know I have to sign all the forms and do all that stuff, I will meet with Dr. S first thing in the am. I will have to drive over to the internal meds office, which is across town, for my appointment there, I will have a few other things to do, then class at 3.. I hope to see you there!
