Accountability 4/16

I didn't see another thread like this for today, so I thought I would get it started:

B - Weight Control Oatmeal
L - egg salad made w/ff miracle whip, pickle relish, few diced chicken, cottage cheese
S - protein drink
D - chicken breast coated with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, topped w/2% swiss cheese and a little ragu spaghetti sauce, roasted squash and zucchini

60 ozs. water

Bandster hell is starting to get to me.  I am so tired of the lion trying to get out of my stomach (growling at me several times a day, I might add).  How did you survive the 5-6 weeks before your first fill?  I haven't cheated at all and my willpower is starting to wear thin.

Hi Dana..Sorry this went so long with no response...
The thing that helped me in those weeks was keeping busy and loads of water... I chewed a lot of sugar free gum, and I ate 6 times a day just really small meals... in bandster hell I went by a calorie allowtment.. I set a calorie goal and divided that into 4 or 6 meals and planned my day that way...
I hope that helps!! Keep it up ok? its hard but It will get better

I also carry a luunchbox everywhere.. I swear by it... I carry a yogurt,  bottle water and protein bar with me everywhere. I have one that looks just like a purse but its a LUNCHBOX!!  The girls can testify to that.. I also carry peanuts, things like that...

Thanks, Dawn.  I might have to try the luncbox thing.  Thanks for the tips and just knowing that it has gotten easier after a fill with a lot of you guys helps.

I have gone back to carrying a case of water and three diff flavors of crystal light in my van since it is always with me. I keep a protein bar in my purse and a box at work along with a couple Healthy Choice cafe steamers. I love them and the portion, protein and fat is perfect. It is hard to stay on track and I know I am one to cheat so if this is all I have to pick from I have to stay on track. I know me and my habits....not good! I am also out and moving more. I went home and played in the yard with B and we were both pooped come bed time!

Thanks, Lee Ann, for the tips.  I am going to have to try the Health Choice cafe steamers.  I have been looking for a frozen dinner that has a good nutrition content for us lap banders.  I seem to be losing about 2 lbs. a week, but man is it hard!
