Just bought my ticket!!

We are driving. I googled the map tonight and it's about five and a half hours from Louisville. So far there are seven of us going. Six of us are sharing two connecting rooms. Dannyyell is going with her hubby and they will have a seperate room.
I do know the airport is right there as well. I might just google for airline tickets to see how much they are....I bet it wouldn't be too outrageous since it's less than 50 minutes flight time....
I'll let you know what I find out!

Just a quick peek at the Flylouisville.com website and a Thursday to Sunday R/T ticket from Louisville to O'Hare would be about $115 per person after taxes. Not bad if you consider parking at the hotel is $25 a day and the fact that you spend less than an hour in the air versus almost six (once you add in a couple potty breaks) on the road. I actually like the roadtrip idea myself....
