I know what you mean. I am out 3 ½ years. I noticed my clothes were fitting differently. I decided to go to Weigh****chers and get it under control. I had gained 7 pounds, but the 1st week I lost 4 pounds. I think we need consistency in our lives weekly.  I know we have support groups, but mine meets once a month and it conflicts with my child’s schedule so, I joined Weigh****chers. It kind of gives me a boost and I get things under control and of course I get back on track with my weight. It is something we are going to have to watch the rest of our lives.

You're right- it will be something that people like us will have to watch for the rest of our lives. I just need something do-able, not like a diet. When I go into "diet mode" it's like I panic. I can't eat THIS, or THAT. It's like once I know it's a no-no food, my mind wants it.

I know that dieting for me doesn't work. I'm not a planner, I don't do well on a schedule, etc. I guess I need a plan that is simple.

This is something I need to figure out before I get back to 321 lbs.

I do understand what you mean.  I had the lapband surgery 3 years ago and gained most of my weight back.  I finally decided in December to take my life back and have lost 38 pounds so far.  This time just using diet and exercise.

Thanks for writing.

I think I will have to do the same thing, ole fashioned diet and exercise. Just have to find something that works for me because as I said in my above post I'm not a good 'dieter'.
38 pounds is AMAZING. I would love to do that right now.. It would put me back in a comfortable weight, that's for sure

Keep up that great work!
